New winter storm plows across Midwest (AP) - SendMeRSS

Two Trucks and a house are damaged by a fallen tree in Friday, Dec. 14, 2007 in Tulsa, Okla.  Hundreds of thousands of Oklahomans, weathered one of the state's worst natural disasters, a brutal ice storm that knocked out power to more than 600,000 homes and businesses at its peak and led to at least 23 deaths. The number of statewide power outages had been reduced to more than 200,000 by Friday afternoon. Public Service Company of Oklahoma reported about 89,000 outages, mostly in the Tulsa area.
